On Friday a sweet friend of mine invited CJ and I to watch the North Carolina Dance Theatre perform The Nutcracker. We had a wonderful time. The dancers were incredible and the props were dazzling.
The Charlotte Symphony also performed live, which totally tickled my inner band geeks pickle.
All of the little girls were dressed up in the prettiest little dresses. During intermission the lobby was filled with girls twirling and leaping. It was super cute.
Okay, I attempted a couple leaps and twirls myself once I got home (imagine that). I'm sure that I looked like a fool but I had to give it a try. I've always admired ballerina's but I was told that I didn't have the feet for it.
Overall, I had a blast and I can't wait to do it again next year!

I have always wanted to see The Nutcracker! And I too have always wanted to have in ballet!
My aunt was in the Nutcracker in Chicago when I was younger and it was magical. I haven't seen it in years!
