I decided to straighten my hair last night and I'm really pleased with the results. I would really like to keep it like this for a while but I'm nervous about heat damage etc. What is your favorite heat protector? Any tips on preventing heat damage? Thanks in advance :)

i haven't straighten my natural hair yet so i have no tips but i think you did great :)
You're hair came out awesome. I straighten my hair once in a while with Phytodefrisant Anti-frizz serum for heat protection, Victoria Secrets shine serum for shine. I also never put the flat iron on the highest setting and never use a pressing comb and I haven't had any problems with heat damage. The most important part for avoiding heat damage for me however is I will NEVER let a professional stylist straighten my hair again.

I'm curious, are you able to workout with your hair like that? That's why I rarely straighten mine, one workout and my do is trashed LOL.
@Lena's Blend thanks for the tips love. I worked out last night but I took it easy because I didn't want to mess my hair up...I probably won't keep it straight for long bc i don't want to jepordize my workouts LOL.

I only straighten my hair once or twice a year and it typically lasts for about 2.5 seconds, so unfortunately I'm of no help :/
