Happy Halloween

I don't know about you but I have had way too much candy today....I have a major sweet tooth.  I'm for sure going to the gym tonight because I need to burn off the extra 2000 calories that I consumed today (seriously, candy is like my crack so that's why I try not to buy it).  I feel a little sick from binging out on Skittles, Smarties, and Nerds all day :(

a Stroll in the Park!

T (my best friend) and I love the outdoors so we decided to go on a natural walk Saturday morning.  We are both interested  in photography and love Fall so we thought that it would be a great opportunity to practice with our cameras.  Here are a few action shots!  I call this our ninja fight lol.

One of the many perks of living in the heart of the city includes, free parking on Sundays, Tailgating, and being able to walk everywhere.  Here are a few pictures from game day.

Cj snapped these pics just before heading the mall on Saturday.   We went to pick up the iPhone 4s BUT after waiting for over a hour in line (not my choice)  we decided to leave and try  another day, Thank Gawd.  I really need to update my phone because I have the 3G (don't judge me), but I was not willing to waste my whole day crammed in line....The lady in front of us had this cute little 2 year old that wouldn't stop crying.  Jin loves the kids, but only when they are smiling and happy.

As you can see I'm a jeans and T-shirt type of gal...I barely even wear heels 1. because I would be like 6'1 and 2. because no one ever taught me how to walk properly in them lol.

Girls Night Out

This past Saturday my girlfriends and I got together for dinner and dancing! My neck still hurts from whipping my hair and my knees are sore from dropping it like it's hot. At one point during the night I remember my girlfriend and myself busting out the Michael Jackson Thriller dance..Ha. Good times!

Every leaf speaks bliss to me......

I took the day off from the gym because my joints are tired and achy. I REALLY wanted to hit the gym today but knew that I would feel like arse in the morning if I did, so instead I took my SLR on a mini adventure.

Moral of the story, listen to your body because it will let you know when you need a break. There is a huge difference between feeling lazy and feeling depleted /overworked.....don't confuse the two! Pushing it when feeling depleted or overworked could potentially cause an injury. Injuries are no bueno!

The Weekend

Cheers to an awesome weekend!  Fall is definitely my favorite time of year.  Here in NC the temperature was in the mid seventies and sunny ALL weekend.  I spent the majority of my weekend outdoors enjoying the weather.

 I know tons of  people that are thin but don't eat right and don't workout.  Personally I believe that  a toned lean body is far more attractive than a skinny flabby one.  Have you ever heard of the term "skinny- fat"? According to the Urban Dictionary (yes, I said urban dictionary, lol) skinny-fat  is when someone is thin and looks great in clothes, but is all flabby underneath or This term is used when a person is thin, yet does not eat healthy or take care of themselves. They think they don't need to watch the junk they eat because they are thin. They can be more unhealthy then an overweight person.

I look forward to any chance I get to meet up with  my girls....we always have great conversation and are all supportive of each other.  I'm a lucky girl to have them as friends :) I wish that I could see them more but significant others, children, and work sometimes get in the way.  I think that we all planned to meet up again on the 28th!!!! eek... (I say "think" because after lots of chatter and a few drinks, my memory has failed me)
