I know that I'm a little late but I totally forgot to post pictures from Halloween. My boyfriend and I went as Beyonce and Jay-z.
I did my own makeup and I got my super fab leotard from American Apparel.

This weekend was so memorable because my little bro graduated from the United States Marine Corps. Words can't even express how proud of him I am. He survived 13 tough weeks of physical, mental, and emotional stress. He graduated top of his platoon and was a squad leader. He had never shot a gun before arriving to boot camp in his life but graduated "expert shooter". He also learned how to swim a couple weeks before going to boot camp and passed a rigorous swimming exam on the first try. In the beginning when he told me that he was going in to the military I couldn't understand why he would want to do such a thing, but after watching him walk across the field after graduation, I realized this was the perfect job for him. Being a Marine has given him confidence, discipline, and responsibility. He has learned so much about the history of our country and has made a conscious/ mature decision to fight for our country. I've enjoyed hearing his stories about boot camp and I can't wait to hear more stories. He's home until December 29 and then he has to go to Jacksonville, NC for 29 days of combat training (I think that's what you call it). I'm sure that most of you have heard Obama's recent speech about sending over 30k troops to Afghanistan, please keep my lil' bro in mind and say a prayer for him and our troops.
