Summer is just around the corner and I can't wait to take vacations, wear sun dresses, and layout by the pool. I've set a goal for myself to be healthier, stronger, and leaner by the time summer starts. What I considered a perfect body back in college is totally different than what consider attractive now. I'm no longer interested in competing in figure competitions because I find that I'm a lot happier not having to diet daily and I hated the endless cardio sessions. Now my goals are to have an healthy athletic build. Lately, I've been concentrating on my abdominals, glutes, and arms. I want to tone up, but I don't want to get too big because I don't want to outgrow my clothes, plus I don't know too many guys who think that big lats and shoulders are attractive. Just like plenty of other people that I know, I'm on a budget so eating clean and healthy is actually pretty easy. I eat breakfast and dinner at home and I pack my lunch for work. Not only am I saving loads of money, but I have so much more energy and I hardly ever feel bloated or uncomfortable. Overall I enjoy feeling like I'm being productive. I go to bed at night feeling like I've accomplish so much in just one day, and that's an awesome feeling. Ever since I've started working out before work I feel like work has been a lot less stressful.
I can't wait to wake up early to workout tomorrow. Tomorrow will be day 4 for the week!
